Hello everyone!! I just wanted to say thank you to all the players out there supporting your local poker game. As a host it takes a lot of work and patience to get the ball rolling and I am truly grateful for all of the support! During the last few months that I have been hosting games I have seen A LOT of crazy things happen. Some good, some bad, and some I could definately due without. However, that being said I can't say I would be happy doing anything else!! Besides, it makes for interesting conversations during the week!
As you all know hosting games is a roller coaster ride of excitement. Lots of ups and down! But in the in end it's so worth it! Funny how it works out really! Last Friday would be a perfect example. We were about 4 handed for the majority of the night. When the night was over I had decided that the rest of the week would probably be about the same pending the upcoming holiday week. Come Monday however, we just about had to start a new table due to the fact that we had a few players waiting! You just never know! Maybe that is way I love it so much, the anticipation, the action, the people!
So the next time you are at your local game remember to say thanks to your host! You just don't really know how much goes into what they do until you do it yourself!! Hope everyone has a great week and we all look forward to seeing you at the table!
